Rowenta RO8231 Vacuum Hose Torn – Forced to Buy Entire Part for Small Repair
The short connection hose inside two of the attachments of my Rowenta RO8231 vacuum has torn. While there’s no other issue with the vacuum, instead of replacing just the hose, the service insists on selling the entire part, costing around 3000 TL for a piece that should cost around 200 TL. I haven’t been able to find the hose anywhere, and even independent service providers couldn’t offer a solution. One independent service worker mentioned that when they brought this problem to a Rowenta manager, the response was, "How else will we make money?"
Forcing customers to replace the entire part for such a small issue is neither fair nor beneficial for customer satisfaction or the economy. I expect Rowenta to come up with a solution that doesn’t burden customers unnecessarily.
