Roborock S7 Sonic Mopping Smart Robot Vacuum Water Tank And Sensor Malfunction
On June 8, 2023, at 09:30, I purchased the Roborock S7 Sonic Mopping Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner from Trendyol. About 7 months after the purchase, a few days ago, the water tank cracked on its own, leading to a height sensor error due to water leakage damaging the sensors. It is alarming that the water tank spontaneously cracked, as it's a solid container meant to hold water. How can such a sudden crack occur? Furthermore, the product claims to have a Tüvtürk-approved guarantee and brand status. How is this possible?
As if that weren't enough, it's concerning that the sensors are placed in areas vulnerable to water leakage, resulting in damage. What options do I have regarding this device? The persistent issue of the water tank cracking and sensor deterioration is a major concern. Unable to find assistance in Turkey, I reached out to the International Roborock team. Surprisingly, they acknowledged it as a chronic problem and suggested obtaining parts via Aliexpress since they no longer produce this robot. What a frustrating situation!
I plan to file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board, providing all necessary documents and evidence. If the distributor company can address and resolve this matter, it would be highly appreciated!
