Roborock S8 Water Tank Cracked and I Was Denied Warranty Despite the Issue

We paid ₺25,000 for the robot when it first came out, and now the water tank has cracked for no reason. Even though it’s still under warranty, they tried to sell us a replacement part and claimed it’s not covered. This doesn’t make sense for a product in this price range that’s supposed to offer premium performance. When we questioned the situation, customer service simply repeated that it was “user damage” without any proper inspection. We have two Roborock S8 units in our home, and both have had the exact same issue. After doing some research, I found out that this is a common problem and has happened to many other users as well. We’re asking for our grievance to be resolved properly.

I purchased my Roborock 9 robot vacuum cleaner about 3–4 months ago, and it is still under warranty. I sent it to the service center because a small part broke while it was climbing onto a carpet. The rest of the device was perfectly fine—only that part was damaged. However, the service center claim...

24 I purchased the Roborock S8 Sonic robot vacuum less than two months ago, and without any impact, drop, or physical intervention, it has developed cracks and started leaking water. The cracks are not minor; they run across several parts of the device, causing it to leak all the water completely. I've...
