Resumaker.ai Refund Request – Unexpected $19.99 Charge
I am filing a complaint against resumaker.ai regarding an unauthorized charge made to my Visa debit card ending in 4186. On March 15, 2026, I was charged approximately $19.99 (around ₱1,199 Philippine pesos) for a service that I did not knowingly approve as a recurring or paid subscription.
After noticing the charge, I contacted resumaker.ai, but their response has been very slow. They only stated that they would “check on it,” which did not provide any clear resolution or time frame. I also processed a cancellation through their website; however, based on feedback and experiences shared by other users, I am concerned that I may still be charged again in the future despite canceling.
In this situation, I request a full refund of the unauthorized charge of approximately $19.99 (₱1,199), as well as the permanent cancellation of any subscription or recurring payment linked to my card to ensure that no further charges occur. I also request clear written confirmation that my account and payment details will not be used for any future billing.
