GoToGate and Qatar Airways Left Me Without a Valid Ticket After Cancellations

For my trip between June 15–28, I purchased connecting flights operated by Qatar Airways through GoToGate and paid approximately ₺30,000 in total. My PNR number is C2DJHF. Due to issues caused by both the airline and the agency, this entire process has turned into a complete nightmare. After my first flight was canceled, I accepted the alternative flight offered to me. However, the very next day, my flight date was changed to a different day without my knowledge or approval. When I contacted GoToGate regarding this unauthorized change, I was asked to pay an additional fee of approximately ₺600 under the name of a “support fee” in order to correct the date change. Even though I specifically stated that requesting an extra fee from a passenger following an airline-related cancellation is against SHY-PASSENGER regulations, they still created difficulties and failed to provide a solution-oriented approach. After long efforts, the second alternative flight that I accepted has now also been canceled as of today, and despite my travel date being very close, I currently do not have a valid ticket. Qatar Airways shifts the responsibility to GoToGate by saying “the ticket is with the agency,” while GoToGate leaves me completely without a solution by either demanding additional fees or offering unclear and uncertain alternatives. During this process, I have contacted both companies more than 10 times, yet in none of these communications was a concrete, clear, and free solution provided to resolve my grievance. Due to repeated cancellations, date changes made without my consent, and unethical additional fee demands, my travel plans for June 15 are now under serious risk. Since new ticket prices are extremely high, I no longer have the financial ability to purchase a new ticket on my own, which has caused me serious financial and emotional distress. I demand that GoToGate and Qatar Airways urgently provide and issue alternative flights matching my original travel dates without requesting any additional fees whatsoever (service fees, support fees, etc.). Otherwise, I hereby state that I will exercise all of my legal rights before the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM), the Consumer Arbitration Committee, and IATA.
