Qatar Airways Delay Caused Passenger to Miss Connecting Flights
My Qatar Airways flight QR245 from Doha to Istanbul, scheduled to depart at 2:05 PM on December 18, 2025, was delayed until 7:30 PM due to technical reasons. Because of this delay, it became clear that I would not be able to catch my 10:10 PM Istanbul–Antalya flight on the same day. When Qatar Airways staff informed me that the Doha–Istanbul flight would depart at 7:30 PM, I relied on this information and purchased a new Istanbul–Antalya ticket for December 19 at 2:10 AM. However, Qatar Airways failed to adhere to the revised 7:30 PM departure time as well, and due to this second delay, I was unable to use the Istanbul–Antalya ticket I had purchased. As a result, I was forced to buy a third Istanbul–Antalya ticket. Due entirely to delays caused by Qatar Airways, I suffered a total financial loss of approximately $357. I would also like to specifically note that during this process at Doha Airport, Qatar Airways staff were extremely indifferent and cold, and did not provide any assistance whatsoever. In order for my hardship to be remedied, I am requesting that Qatar Airways fully reimburse my loss of $357, which resulted from the additional tickets I was forced to purchase due to these repeated delays.
