Unjustified Charges and Failure to Cancel Our Subscription – Pronet
We have been trying to cancel our Pronet Alarm subscription for nearly two years, but the company has repeatedly ignored or delayed our requests. Despite multiple phone calls and formal cancellation attempts, our membership has not been terminated. We have faced several serious issues with the alarm system itself. It frequently malfunctions, sends false alarms, and even called the police without any valid reason due to a system error. This happened recently and caused unnecessary panic and distress. We have issued at least four formal complaints about the poor service and unreliable system. We clearly stated that we are not satisfied and wish to cancel the contract immediately. Unfortunately, we feel like we’ve fallen into a trap and cannot get out. Instead of processing our cancellation, the company keeps extending the contract and insists on charging fees until the very last moment. This behavior is clearly against consumer rights and unethical. We are extremely dissatisfied and demand an immediate cancellation of our contract. We are now preparing to submit formal complaints to consumer protection authorities, and we will also publish our experience on online platforms and social media so that others can be warned about these unfair practices. We urge Pronet to take this matter seriously and resolve our cancellation request without further delay.
