I Got Charged Instantly by Prezi After Clicking “Start Free Trial” for Expert Plan

I recently visited Prezi’s website and clicked on the “Start your 7-day free trial” button under the "Expert Presenters" plan. It clearly stated this was a free trial — which normally means you try the product for 7 days without being charged unless you explicitly choose to continue. However, immediately after clicking, I was shocked to find that ₺42 (around $42) was charged to my credit card without any warning or confirmation.

There was no prompt asking for my approval to begin a paid plan, no clarity that the charge would happen upfront, and certainly no respect for what a free trial is supposed to mean. This is misleading and unfair to customers. If you’re advertising a free trial, you should never charge users without getting their consent after the trial ends.

I demand an immediate refund of the ₺42 that was wrongfully taken and ask that Prezi update its interface to clearly warn users about any immediate charges. This kind of shady billing practice is unacceptable and deeply disappointing from a platform that claims to support professionals.
