Preply Closed My Account and Didn’t Refund My $5 Trial Payment
Today around 5:30 PM, I scheduled two trial lessons on Preply. Before the lessons even began, my account was suddenly shut down, and the $5 USD payment I made with my debit card has not been refunded.
When I try to access my account now, I get a notification that my account has been closed, and when I try to reach customer service through the app, the system keeps giving errors. I have also reached out to the support team via email, but I haven’t received any response.
I can’t access my lessons, and I haven’t been given any information about the status of my payment. I request a clear explanation for why my account was closed, that my account be reactivated, or that the full refund for the unused trial lessons be issued quickly.
