Frozen Earnings After Preply Suddenly Deactivated My Tutor Account
I am a Preply tutor, and my account was permanently deactivated on 24 December 2025. I have worked on the platform for about 7 months, completed over 400 teaching hours, and consistently maintained a 5★ rating with my students. At the same time as the deactivation, all of my earnings were frozen, and I have been denied access to my remaining balance. Preply notified me only via a brief email stating that my account was permanently deactivated, without providing any clear or detailed explanation for this decision. Since then, support has not given any meaningful clarification, nor have they released the funds I rightfully earned from completed lessons.I respectfully request that my case be reviewed as a matter of urgency, that I receive a clear and detailed explanation for the deactivation of my tutor account, and that my frozen earnings and remaining balance be paid out without further delay. If reinstatement of my account is not possible, I at least expect Preply to process the payout of my existing earnings and provide a transparent, written justification for their decision.
