I Can’t Subscribe on Preply Despite Multiple Payment Attempts

I booked a trial lesson through the Preply app and was genuinely impressed with the teacher. I wanted to continue and subscribe right away, but I’ve been unable to complete the payment process. I tried 5–6 different cards—each time, the system gave me an error, and the transaction failed.
What’s worse is that I can’t even reach the support team because it seems you only get access to proper help after subscribing. This makes no sense—how are users supposed to solve payment issues if they can’t contact anyone for assistance?
Preply, I really want to continue learning with the tutor I found, but you’re making it impossible. Fix the payment system and provide accessible support for users trying to subscribe. I need a solution immediately before I lose the opportunity to book lessons with this teacher.
