Sunglass Hut Dismisses Prada Logo Peeling Claim Without Inspection
On June 25, 2025, I purchased Prada brand sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut store at Adana M1. Shortly after, the "Prada" lettering on the temple began peeling off. When I applied to the store regarding this issue on August 20, 2025, my request was rejected without any inspection, alleging that the issue was caused by makeup products.
Although it was specifically stated during the sale that the brand would stand behind the product and provide support under warranty, having no responsibility taken when I experienced a problem with the item has caused me deep disappointment. Given the brand's reputation and the store's corporate stature, I expected a more thorough inspection and a solution-oriented approach; however, issuing a negative response without even investigating the root cause shows that customer satisfaction is not valued.
Although I was unable to follow up on the matter at the time due to health issues, I believe there is a manufacturing or coating defect in the "Prada" lettering on the temple, and I request that this situation be inspected by an authorized service center or relevant department. I demand that my sunglasses be repaired under warranty, and if deemed necessary, that the affected part be replaced to restore the product to its original condition.
