Prada Sunglasses Experience Severe Temple Peeling and Discoloration Within Months
Approximately 9 months ago, I purchased Prada PR 14YS black and pink women's sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut counter located inside the Boyner store at Bursa Korupark Shopping Mall. Even though the product has not even completed its first year, noticeable peeling and obvious discoloration developed, particularly on the temples, starting around the 6th month. I believe this degree of deterioration is unacceptable under normal usage conditions.
I sent the sunglasses in for inspection under warranty, but my claim was rejected without offering any repair, replacement, or refund. Given that the product deteriorated to this state in such a short period, the trust placed in the brand and the assurance given at the time of sale regarding its "high quality and longevity" have been completely shattered. I strongly refuse to accept that full responsibility is placed on the consumer under the guise of "user error" for a product whose warranty is still valid and which reached this condition so quickly.
The occurrence of multi-area peeling and discoloration on the temples of sunglasses purchased from a premium brand like Prada in such a short timeframe clearly indicates that the product is defective. Therefore, to resolve the hardship I have experienced, I demand a full refund for the sunglasses or a replacement with a new product of equivalent value from the same brand. I expect the evaluation process to be reviewed again and a fair resolution produced in line with my warranty rights.
