Opmar Optics Ruins Prada Sunglasses With Unauthorized Third-Party Polishing

On April 25, 2026, I purchased a pair of Prada brand sunglasses. Shortly after buying the product, I noticed color fading on the frame and polishing damage on the lenses. Within the first month, I went to the Opmar Serdivan AVM store, where I was told there was no problem and no action was taken.
On July 16, 2026, they sent the sunglasses to service under warranty for the first time. The employee who created the service record only opened it for the frame, promising to add the lens issue later via email. Despite contacting the staff at the Opmar Serdivan AVM store multiple times over three days, the email was never sent initially and was only dispatched after persistent effort on my part. Despite this, on July 21, the sunglasses were returned to me with only the frame polished, while no action was taken regarding the lenses. Although Prada has no official polishing service in Turkey, Opmar had the frame polished through their own means, completely ruining its original finish.
Following this, a second service record was created, and the sunglasses were sent back on July 22. While they had returned the sunglasses in just 4 days after polishing them the first time, 14 days passed with no completion of the inspection, leading me to request the return of the sunglasses against a signature due to the prolonged delay. I question under what authority an unauthorized "polishing" process—which a brand like Prada does not officially provide—was performed, and whether the brand is even aware of this practice.
I have suffered significant hardship due to the ruined state of the product, unauthorized repairs, and the indifference of store personnel. I demand that my sunglasses either be replaced with a brand new, flawless product or a suitable equivalent, or if possible, that a full refund be issued. Otherwise, I will pursue my legal rights to the fullest extent, both directly with the brand and through legal channels.
