Four-Year-Old Prada Eyeglass Frame Suffers Severe Sun Fading and Coating Peeling

I purchased a Prada brand eyeglass frame approximately 4 years ago from Tital Optics in Ankara. Although 4 years have passed since the purchase, noticeable sun fading and peeling have been occurring on the frame for about a year. The resulting appearance on the product certainly does not reflect a brand with global equity like Prada.

Following the issue, I first contacted Tital Optics, where I bought the product; they naturally stated they lacked authority and directed me to the brand's authorized distributor in Turkey. I reached out to the authorized distributor via email. The only response I received was that the warranty period is 2 years, and since this period had expired, no action could be taken. I cannot accept that an issue with a product of such high brand value is completely dismissed simply by saying "the warranty expired."

We pay 10 to 20 times the price of ordinary brands precisely to avoid experiencing such quality and coating problems. For this exact reason, I expect the brand to stand behind its product, evaluate it in a manner fitting Prada's brand value, and take whatever steps are necessary. I am not asking for a favor here; I simply expect the brand I chose and paid a premium for to take responsibility.
