I purchased my 2024 CFMOTO 650MT on October 19, 2024, and immediately noticed handlebar vibrations. During the first service on November 9, 2024, at the Ataşehir authorized dealer, I reported the issue. They suggested that the motorcycle may have left the factory without proper wheel balancing and advised me to monitor it.
As I rode more, the vibration worsened, particularly at higher speeds. At 1,150 km on November 16, 2024, I visited a tire shop where they found that my Pirelli Angel GT Gran Turismo front tire had a factory defect—visible wobbling and uneven wear.
I returned to the Ataşehir dealership, but they refused to handle the issue and redirected me to another branch, where the defect was confirmed. A warranty claim was submitted to the factory. However, Uğur Motorlu Taşıtlar (CFMOTO’s distributor in Turkey) later told me that no such request was in their system. After follow-ups, the claim was reopened, and I was told a replacement tire was approved and shipped.
Upon calling the service center, I discovered that the replacement tire was NOT the original Pirelli model but a CST Adreno, which is nowhere near the same quality, grip, or safety level. The dealership itself confirmed that this is a low-quality alternative, totally inappropriate for my motorcycle. To make matters worse, the CST tire they sent was manufactured in 2017, posing a serious safety risk.
I purchased this motorcycle considering its original premium tires and factory specs, yet CFMOTO is now forcing an inferior, outdated replacement on me. This is unacceptable, and I demand that CFMOTO, Oktay Motor, and Pirelli Turkey resolve this issue immediately by providing a new Pirelli Angel GT Gran Turismo tire, as originally equipped.
I have photo evidence of the defective tire and the incorrect replacement. I expect a fair and safe resolution without further delay.
