On Wednesday, October 22, during my international flight from Istanbul to Batumi with Pegasus Airlines, I purchased tickets and extra baggage allowance for both myself and my daughter (PNR: 14GV2Z). However, my daughter was not allowed to board because her ID lacked a photo, and she had to stay in Turkey. Despite this, both her luggage and mine were sent to Batumi. On the same flight, her aunt and cousin faced the same issue, but their luggage was removed from the plane—ours was not. For the return flight on Sunday, October 26, from Batumi to Istanbul, I checked in for both tickets and did not request a cancellation. Nevertheless, since my daughter was not with me, I was again charged for extra baggage. Even though we already had valid tickets and prepaid baggage allowance, I was forced to pay around ₺7000 in Georgian lari for 20 kg of extra baggage. Additionally, the stroller I brought for my daughter was also charged again on the return flight. I received a receipt for the payment. When I contacted Pegasus customer service, they only had me fill out a complaint form and offered no resolution. I request a full refund of the unjustly charged baggage fee and expect an immediate reimbursement for this unfair expense.
