Pegasus Airlines Canceled My Ticket After a Delay - I Missed My Flight
I bought a ticket from Pegasus Airlines for a flight from Ankara to Almaty, Kazakhstan, on March 29th, 2025. My flight was delayed in Ankara by 1 hour and 30 minutes. By the time I landed in Istanbul, my connecting flight had already departed. I tried to speak with a Pegasus Airlines supervisor, but she simply canceled my ticket and said to me, “Good luck.” On top of that, they lost my luggage, which I ended up finding myself four hours later. I tried to find a flight back home to Ankara but couldn’t, so I had to stay overnight at a hotel in Istanbul and finally managed to get a bus ticket to return home. Now I’m on the bus heading back. I’ve traveled to 83 different countries around the world, but I’ve never encountered an airline like Pegasus Airlines. This has been the worst airline experience I’ve ever had. I will never fly with this company again—never. Unprofessional, unreliable, and completely irresponsible.
