Pegasus Airlines Canceled My Flight and Is Charging a Fee for Refund or Reschedule

On January 6, 2025, we purchased round-trip tickets from Pegasus Airlines for two people, with flights from Ankara to Almaty on June 20, 2025, and from Almaty to Ankara on July 19, 2025. On February 14, 2025, the airline notified us via SMS that they had canceled these flights. During our conversation with customer service, we were told that we could either reschedule for a different date or receive a refund. However, in both cases, they demanded a fee of ₺6,800 under the name of a processing fee. Why are we being charged such a high amount when we are not at fault? I am filing a complaint regarding this issue.
