On 30.08.2024, we were scheduled to fly from Istanbul to Sarajevo with Pegasus. When I checked our baggage allowance through Flybot on Pegasus's official website, it showed that everyone had a checked baggage allowance of 20 kg. The story is a bit long, but I'll keep it short. When I bought the ticket, the screen displayed 3x8 kg (cabin baggage) and 1x20 kg checked baggage, which made me anxious. Before confirming, I double-checked to avoid any mistakes. However, only 5 passengers were given hand luggage, and 1 passenger was given 20 kg checked baggage. I filed a complaint with Pegasus about this, but their explanation was unsatisfactory. They said there was an error in Flybot. If I had checked my baggage allowance on the last day and believed Flybot, what would have happened at the airport if I had brought 20 kg for each of the five people? They would have charged me for the extra 4x20 kg. What if I didn't have the money? It would have been embarrassing. I explained this to the customer representative, but they couldn't give a proper answer. They tried to respond but deflected the issue. If my call recording is listened to, it will be clear. The funny part is, I don't fly with any other company besides Pegasus. Despite being cheaper, I didn't choose Atlasjet. For the first time in my life, I regret choosing Pegasus and wish I hadn't. Everything was fine until I bought the ticket, but for the first time, I faced an issue, and instead of helping, they made it worse. I am disappointed because we are decent people.
