Hello; On December 8, 2023, we had a connecting flight from Zurich to Esenboğa Airport. We had a 4-person ticket for 2 adults, 1 child aged 15, and 1 child aged 4. We completed the check-in procedures a week before. Our Pegasus Airlines flight, scheduled for 11:40 on the day of the flight, was delayed by 1.5 hours due to the late arrival of the relevant aircraft at the airport. Our connecting flight from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Ankara was scheduled for 17:55, but due to the delay of the plane, our arrival at the relevant airport was already at 18:00. When we informed the flight attendants about the delayed arrival, they said there was no problem, and the other plane would be waiting for us. However, upon landing, we were not given any priority during the control procedures, and we reached the gate number communicated to us at 18:10 (we had to run, and my child even fell, unfortunately, because the authorized persons in the transit transfer area asked us to run). When we arrived, the gates were closed, and they informed us that we could not board the plane because we arrived late. About 20-25 people from the same plane were left at the gate, and we were asked to go to customer service on the third floor to change our tickets. Meanwhile, we saw that our automatic ticket had been created for the next morning (December 9, 2023, at 06:35) through the online system. After expressing our objection, they said okay, we will help you, and after getting angry and shouting, they said they would arrange a seat for the 20:25 flight. After keeping us waiting for half an hour, they informed us that they had registered us for the relevant flight and apologized by offering a complimentary burger King menu for a specific cheap menu. But even though the closing time for the 20:25 flight was 20:05, the boarding time was delayed, and after hours of protest by people like us who were in distress, we were allowed to board at 20:15, but unfortunately, they kept us on the plane for a full 1 hour and 10 minutes with the smell of fuel... As if that weren't enough, no one in charge explained anything to us, and there wasn't a single flight attendant because they knew their mistakes very well. They kept us waiting on the plane with the lights off as if we were about to take off at any moment because they knew that if we were kept waiting on the plane, we would not have the right to object, and they would not be able to impose a payment penalty... We, as a family, were in distress. I am complaining about Pegasus Airlines; if necessary, I will file a compensation lawsuit, presenting all my evidence and taking legal action. I am submitting the tickets here; please check all records. We ran around and waited all day as a family.
