Papara Deducted 3.5% Fee From My Incoming Balance Without Prior Notice
I’ve been using Papara for years without issue, but recently I received a balance notification only to find out that Papara had deducted a 3.5% transaction fee from the incoming amount. I wasn’t warned about this change in advance, and there was no prior agreement or notice that such a fee would be applied.
Out of an ₺8400 transfer, Papara withheld ₺300 just like that. This is completely unreasonable. If I had known about this policy beforehand, I would have easily opened an account with a regular bank where they don’t deduct random percentages at will.
Papara, this is unacceptable. You need to be transparent about your fee structure and inform users before implementing charges that impact their finances. I’m demanding a clear explanation of why this fee was applied and a refund of the amount that was unfairly deducted. You’ve built your brand on convenience and low fees—don’t betray your long-time users like this.
