Papara Deducted Hidden Fee From Incoming Transfer Without Notice
Today, a transfer of $1,668 was made to my account through the Papara app. However, an excessive transaction fee of $35.75 was deducted from the transferred amount. Moreover, this deduction was made directly from the incoming funds rather than from the sender, and I received no prior notification. Normally, the transaction fee is clearly stated during the transfer process and charged to the sender. In this case, I was neither informed nor aware of such a high deduction. When I called customer service regarding the issue, I was told, “We are not a bank,” and no solution was provided. I use a Papara personal account and have never encountered such a fee before. I believe this practice lacks transparency and violates consumer rights. I request a refund of the $35.75 that was deducted. My customer number is 1094273***.
