Otelz.com Reservation Deception and Cleaning Issues – A Disappointing Stay!

On February 22, 2025, we arrived at the hotel for check-in around 3:00 PM. We were warmly welcomed at the reception. We informed them about our reservation, provided our IDs, received our room key, and were assigned room 506. When I opened the door to room 506, I found dirty towels and sheets on the floor, and the table was covered with cigarette butts and soft drink bottles. Without even entering the room, we immediately called the reception and informed them that the room had not been cleaned. They reassigned us to a different room. However, this new room was not the one we had originally reserved. It was the Standard Room as listed on Otelz.com, whereas we had booked a Superior Room. We called the reception again to inform them that the room given to us was not the Superior Room we had reserved. They asked us to return to the reception. Upon arrival, they explained that the Superior Room had not yet been cleaned and that we would need to wait for a short while until the cleaning was completed. In the meantime, we took a walk around the hotel, then sat in the lobby for a while. After some time, they informed us that our room was ready. However, they once again assigned us the same room 506. I am attaching photos of the room. There is absolutely no resemblance between this room and the Superior Room shown on the hotel's reservation page. When we pointed this out to the reception, they insisted that it was indeed a Superior Room. Due to our exhaustion from traveling and the fact that it was already an hour past our check-in time, we did not want to argue any further and decided to stay in the assigned room.
