Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Unauthorized Software Flash & Refund Dispute
I purchased a black Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 with 256 GB storage from Vatan Bilgisayar for ₺69,000. The phone had a serious problem where it was opening very slowly and it was taking about 5 minutes for it to become usable, so the device was sent for inspection and on 26 June an examination was carried out. On Monday at 12:59, I sent a written message via Samsung Türkiye’s official WhatsApp channel clearly stating that I do not accept any repair on the device and that I demand a refund instead. In this correspondence, which I will share as evidence, Samsung confirmed in writing that no intervention would be performed on the phone and that the process would continue as a refund request. Despite this clear written refusal of repair, during today’s phone calls Samsung representatives stated that software had been installed on the device and even openly admitted that software was flashed, while claiming that this does not count as a repair. Afterwards, I was informed that “there is no fault” on the device and, on this basis, my legal right to a refund is being blocked. I do not accept this situation in any way, I will not take delivery of the device in its current condition, and I state that the legal process has already been initiated. The relevant service record number is 4297994700. I request that my device be considered within the scope of a defective product, that a DOA refund approval be issued without further delay, and that my payment of ₺69,000 be fully refunded. I also request that the unauthorized software intervention made despite my clear written refusal, as well as the written WhatsApp confirmation that no intervention would be made, be taken into account in the evaluation.
