On March 22, 2025, I booked a one-night stay at Le Meridien Etiler through Otelz.com, with check-in on March 22 and check-out on March 23. The booking was confirmed and fully paid for. However, just hours later, I received a call stating that the price was incorrect and they had to cancel my reservation—which they did without my consent.

This is completely unacceptable. People plan their schedules, meetings, and trips based on confirmed hotel reservations. The fact that a booking can be reversed so casually by the platform is beyond frustrating. I didn’t make a last-minute booking; I acted in good faith, received confirmation, and expected the agreement to be honored.

If Otelz.com is going to operate like this—confirming bookings and then canceling due to pricing mistakes—they should clearly warn customers beforehand. This experience completely shook my trust in the platform, and I’m sharing this so others know to think twice before booking.

I demand a formal apology and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. Otelz.com must either honor their confirmed bookings or take full responsibility when they fail to deliver.
