I booked a room at the RC Farm Hotel in Sapanca on Otelz.com for May 19–21, 2023, and paid the fee on May 10, 2023, at 9:30 PM. At 11:30 PM, I got a call from a number I didn't know. The person who called said they were the hotel owner. They told me that there were no rooms left and asked me to cancel the reservation through Otelz.com. I insisted that Otelz.com get in touch with me because if I canceled, I'd lose the payment and they should explain why. But they didn't call me. To avoid any more trouble, I called Otelz.com to find out what was going on with my reservation. Ilgın from Otelz.com told me that there was no problem and that my stay on May 19th would be easy. I told them what was going on, and they said they had talked to the hotel and found out that there were no more rooms available. They said they would cancel my reservation. This carelessness and customers' disappointment are hard to understand. At first, they said there was no problem, but when I told them what was going on, they said there were no rooms and canceled my reservation, which put me in a tough spot. Within three days, the prices went up and the hotels I liked were all full, which caused me a lot of trouble. Later, they suggested that I book another hotel and pay an extra 2,000–3,000 TL. I trusted them to make the reservation, but it turns out that leaving on May 19 would have made things even worse. After this, I really hope that Otelz.com and RC Farm Hotel will remember how disappointed this customer was and try to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.
