On December 23, 2024, I booked a 2-night stay for two guests at Safranbolu Kanyon Vadi Hotel through the Otelz app, scheduled for May 30–June 1, 2025. I paid in full nearly six months in advance.
But on May 15, I received a call from Otelz claiming that the hotel had suffered flood damage and my reservation was being canceled. I immediately asked if they could transfer the booking to another hotel instead of canceling, but they refused. Despite my polite request and the long notice period, they simply sent a cancellation email and left me without a solution.
I strongly advise others not to book through Otelz.com. Taking payment months in advance and then canceling last-minute without offering a suitable alternative is unacceptable.
Otelz, I expect you to take responsibility and either provide a comparable replacement stay or refund me immediately. Leaving customers stranded weeks before their trip is completely unprofessional.
