Otelz.com Booking Error Ruined Our Vacation Plan
On May 14, 2024, we booked a two-night stay at Sapanca Gönül Sofram Hotel through Otelz.com for June 17-19, 2024, and made the payment. However, the hotel informed us that the dates coincided with a holiday and required a minimum three-night reservation, or else the booking would be rejected. When we contacted Otelz.com, they confirmed the hotel's policy and admitted that there was a system error failing to provide a warning regarding the minimum stay requirement. However, since we were able to make the payment without any system error, a warning about the dates should have been issued as well. Hence, there was no system error; there was a lack of information about the dates, which came to light after our reservation. We feel aggrieved due to relying on Otelz.com for our booking.
