My Opel Corsa Caught Fire While Parked - I Got No Support

On April 18, 2025, my 2021 Opel Corsa suddenly caught fire for no apparent reason. The car was parked, and when I opened the door, there were no flames—just heavy smoke—and the vehicle had not shown any prior service warnings. I contacted Opel Turkey numerous times, but I kept getting the same vague responses: "We're handling it, we're working on it." Today is June 11, and I've been without a car for nearly two months. They can't provide a replacement vehicle because they claim they’re waiting for a field team to determine the cause of the issue—a team they’ve supposedly been waiting for over a month. Why is that my problem? I’m paying the price for a fire that wasn’t my fault, caused by a technical defect. I asked for a replacement vehicle so they can take their time to investigate, but they can’t even do that. Why? Still waiting on the field team. Where is this team—where have they been for two months? Why am I the one suffering? Is it a crime to be an Opel owner? Why should I be responsible for your mechanical failure? The car caught fire on its own, due to an electrical cable, and Opel Turkey is completely unresponsive. The vehicle is currently at Opel Global’s service, but they also can't provide a replacement car—guess why? Because the field team hasn’t identified the issue yet. What kind of field team is this? I never imagined the Opel brand I once loved would become my biggest regret.
