I’m filing this complaint regarding the Off Losyon mosquito repellent spray, which I now suspect is counterfeit. I bought the product from three different stores, assuming I was getting a legitimate and effective product like the one I had previously used. However, all of the new sprays were completely ineffective.
Despite applying an entire bottle throughout the night, I was still constantly bitten by mosquitoes. The scent, texture, and protective effect of these bottles were completely different from what I remember from earlier, genuine Off sprays. These lacked the distinct smell and slightly oily consistency of the original product, and more importantly, offered no protection at all.
This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s a serious consumer safety and brand trust issue. I request Off.com to investigate whether counterfeit or defective batches have been distributed and to take immediate action. I also expect a refund or replacement to compensate for the product’s failure to perform its promised function.
