Hello, I purchased a pair of Nike Air Jordan Low 1 sneakers on June 10, 2024. Within a month, I noticed the front of the shoes was starting to separate, and the leather was peeling. Before reaching two months of use, I took them back to the store under warranty, only to be told that this was considered “user error.” When I went to collect the shoes after inspection, they were covered in mold, as seen in the photos. When I asked about it, I was told, “This is the first time we’ve encountered this issue; let’s send them back for inspection again.” Without touching the shoes, I requested another inspection, only to be told again that it was due to “user error.”
When I called distributor customer service, they advised me to send the shoes again, stating it was a requirement from their side. However, once returned, the result was the same, and I was informed that the shoes were returned “moist.” I’m meticulous with my belongings, and I returned the shoes in their original box, complete with packaging and receipt. If these shoes were damaged due to moisture while in their own storage, how is that my fault? We’ve never encountered mold on our shoes, even after rainy days. I’ve been dealing with this for two months and have yet to receive any satisfactory response. Nike, please take responsibility and address this issue appropriately.
