I ordered the Nike Air Max Solo (product code DX36660028) from Sneaks Up on July 10, 2024. Just four months later, I had to send the shoes back for inspection due to severe wear and tear—they no longer looked or performed like new. Despite clearly visible damage, the shoes were sent back to me with a generic "user error" response.
Let me be clear: I work in an office environment, not in construction or outdoor fields. These shoes were never subjected to extreme use. Yet the midsole area of both shoes is breaking down, almost as if the material is melting away. I accepted the original decision at first, thinking maybe it was an isolated case—but now the same deterioration has continued and worsened in both pairs.
This is not the quality I expected from Nike, a brand I’ve trusted and worn for years. I’ve owned multiple Nike models before, and none have broken down this quickly or this severely. Clearly, something is wrong with the material quality or production process of this particular model.
I’m including visual proof so that both Nike representatives and potential buyers can see exactly what I’m talking about—and I’m confident anyone who sees the photos will agree this is not normal wear.
