On October 13, 2024, I purchased a pair of New Balance sneakers from Sneaks Up, trusting the brand and the promised 2-year warranty. Unfortunately, within just 7 months, mesh tears appeared on both shoes—despite normal daily use and no engagement in any intensive sports. I sent the product in for inspection, expecting it to be covered under warranty. Shockingly, my claim was rejected.

The reason given was that the shoes had signs of "bending." But how is a person supposed to walk without bending their foot? This explanation is absurd. Walking alone puts natural flex on any shoe, and this should not void a warranty—especially on a product advertised to last for 2 years.

If a pair of sneakers can’t withstand basic walking motions for more than a few months, it raises serious questions about the product's quality and the integrity of the warranty. If the shoes are not built to last, then don’t advertise a 2-year warranty and don’t charge premium prices.

I’m calling on both Sneaks Up and New Balance to honor their warranty terms and either replace or refund the defective shoes. I will escalate this further if needed, because customers deserve to be treated fairly and honestly.

I still don't understand why there has been no response. This will be the last pair of shoes I buy from this brand. Despite using them very little, they tore quickly. The shoes have a two-year warranty, and the torn areas are entirely due to the shoe's own defect. The New Balance brand shoes tore even though I used them for only 7 months, and the warranty does not cover it.
