NetShort Started a Subscription Without My Consent

On August 11, 2026, I noticed a $10 mobile charge billed through Google Play to my Türk Telekom phone line, which is registered in my name, under the name “NetShort Popul.” The app in question is not installed on my phone, and there is no subscription or payment transaction for this charge in my Google Play account history. Despite this, a subscription appears to have been started through my phone line without my knowledge or authorization, and I was charged for it.

When I contacted NetShort, they asked me to provide a screenshot of the payment transaction made through Google Play. However, because there is no such transaction in my Google Play account, I am unable to provide the document they requested. Türk Telekom has also told me that I can cancel the transaction through Google Play, but since there is no subscription or payment record there, I have no way to do so.

I do not accept being charged through my phone line for an app that is not installed on my device or for a transaction that does not even appear in the system. I request that the subscription started through my phone line be canceled immediately, that the full $10 charged without authorization be refunded to me, and that the necessary investigation be carried out to prevent a similar incident from happening again.
