Missha Store Gave Me the Wrong Concealer Shade and Refused to Exchange It
On July 16, 2026, I made a purchase at the Missha Mavibahçe store and was left extremely disappointed because I was given the wrong product and did not receive a customer-focused solution afterward.
While I was in the store, I tested a concealer using the display tester, and the shade matched my skin perfectly. Based on that test, I purchased the product. However, when I arrived home and opened the box, I discovered that I had been given a completely different shade that was much lighter than my skin tone. There was no way for me to realize the mistake without opening the packaging.
The following day, I returned to the store, explained the situation, and requested an exchange for the correct shade. Despite the fact that I had been given the wrong product, my request was rejected simply because the package had been opened. I do not believe this is fair, as the only way to discover that the wrong shade had been placed in the box was to open it.
In addition, during the same shopping trip, I specifically asked to purchase an eye cream, but I was mistakenly sold an under-eye patch instead. Although I was eventually allowed to exchange that item for the eye cream I originally requested, I was required to pay the price difference. In other words, I not only received the wrong products but also had to bear the additional cost resulting from mistakes made during the sale. My total purchase amount was approximately $46 (originally ₺2,200).
I am disappointed that the Missha Mavibahçe store did not prioritize customer satisfaction or offer a reasonable solution after these errors. I respectfully request that the incorrectly supplied concealer be exchanged for the correct shade that matches my skin tone. I also ask that store staff receive additional training to ensure customers are properly assisted and are not placed at a disadvantage when mistakes occur during the sales process.
