I Tried to Return a Missha Eyeshadow and Was Refused Despite It Being Unopened
I recently purchased an eyeshadow from Missha, testing the shade on my hand at the store before buying it. However, once I left and saw the product in natural lighting, I realized it looked completely different and would not suit me at all. I decided to return it—without even opening the packaging—only to be told that Missha doesn’t accept returns, even for unused and sealed items.
What shocked me more than the refusal was the dismissive attitude of the staff. Instead of offering a solution, they blamed post-pandemic policy changes, which felt like a generic excuse to avoid helping a regular customer. I’ve shopped at Missha many times before, but this interaction has made me lose all trust in the brand.
I believe consumers have a right to return unopened products they won’t use. The rigid and unhelpful return policy is both frustrating and disappointing. I expected much more from a brand I once trusted. I request that Missha reconsiders their approach to customer service and resolves this issue properly—because this experience has completely changed my view of the brand.
