In October, I ordered an E-Class vehicle from Mercedes Koluman in Gaziantep, which arrived in late November. Before registration, I was informed that services like coating, window tinting, screen protectors, and seat care would be done in-house under Mercedes' guarantee, which I accepted. On Monday, the coating and registration began, and I was told the car would be ready by Wednesday at 16:30. However, at 16:00, I was informed there was an issue with the tint on the right door and the car couldn't be delivered. Despite this, I insisted on picking it up, even if late, and they agreed to deliver by 18:30. At 17:00, I received a second call about issues with the coating on the right door, rear fender, and trunk, causing further delays. I agreed to take the car as-is and have the issues fixed later. Then, at 17:30, I was informed there was paint damage on the trunk and asked to inspect it. When I arrived, I saw significant damage to the trunk. I was upset and discussed possible solutions, requesting more time to consult my lawyer. The next day, I told Mercedes I would only accept the car if it was delivered without further issues. They informed me that no new vehicles were available, and the next batch wouldn't arrive until the new year with increased taxes. I was told I had no choice but to accept the car, but they offered me around ₺100,000 compensation for the damage. I requested legal action and a formal statement confirming the damage. Mercedes referred me to the subcontractor handling the coating, who only provided a brief, incomplete letter lacking signatures or details. I insisted on a proper document, but they said it could be provided the next day. They did not deliver the car or the letter. When I requested the car, I was told the coatings were being removed, and I would need to wait a few more hours or come back the next day. Despite paying millions for a brand-new car, I am dissatisfied with Mercedes for delivering defective goods and causing financial and time-related damages. I demand compensation for my losses with a new vehicle and compensation for the time lost.
