For the past three days, I’ve been having constant issues with my takeout orders from McDonald’s Izmir Optimum branch, usually placed in the early afternoon. Despite paying extra for sauces, my orders often arrive missing sauces and without straws. Most recently, yesterday around 3:10–3:15 p.m., the hamburger in my package was completely missing the patty — an empty bun.
When I reported this issue to the staff today, they asked for the receipt. I explained that I didn’t keep it but could prove the purchase with the time and my credit card statement. In response, they offered me one hamburger. When I said, “Do you think one hamburger is enough to make up for this?” they then offered a full menu. However, their attitude made me feel like I was being treated as if I were lying or trying to get free food, so I refused and decided to eat elsewhere instead.
It’s frustrating to pay for meals I don’t actually receive and to go hungry because I don’t have time to deal with these issues. I’ve been facing the same problems for the past three days and have been greatly inconvenienced. I request that this issue be resolved permanently and my grievance addressed. If needed, I can provide my credit card statements as proof of the transactions.
