McDonald’s Double Charged Me for Undelivered Drive Thru Order
On 16.08.2025 at 01:07, I placed a drive-thru order at the McDonald’s branch on Antalya Gazi Boulevard and paid ₺780. However, since the POS machine’s screen turned off and no receipt was printed, the cashier stated that the payment had not gone through. Although I showed that the transaction appeared in my banking app, I was told the payment was not received and that the refund would reflect automatically. Meanwhile, I placed an additional order for my daughter and paid ₺820, for which I did receive the products. In the end, I did not receive the items from my first ₺780 order, only the ₺820 order, yet both amounts were deducted from my card. Despite repeatedly calling the restaurant and providing all necessary details, no refund or follow-up has been made. On 01.09.2025, I also contacted your customer service line (444 62 62), but I received no response from either customer service or the branch. This has caused me serious inconvenience. I have both the order receipt and the digital slip as proof. I urgently request a refund of the ₺780 payment for the undelivered order and ask to be informed about the resolution. I also kindly request that I be contacted directly regarding this matter.
There is no response or call back at all. The replies you give to complaints here are intended to stall and mislead the customer and this platform.
