I was really excited to try Maybelline’s new lip tint, expecting a true lip tint formula as advertised. But when I applied it, it felt more like a regular lipstick—which was already disappointing. Still, that’s not even the main issue.
The real problem is how unbearably sticky this product is. As soon as I apply it, my lips start sticking together, and it doesn’t go away. It’s not just a temporary sensation right after application—it stays sticky the entire time the product is on my lips. It’s extremely uncomfortable. I didn’t even apply too much, so this isn’t an issue of overuse.
I’m wondering if I received a defective product or if this is a common issue with the entire line. Either way, I feel really let down by Maybelline. A lip tint shouldn’t feel like your lips are glued shut. Maybelline, please explain this and either refund or replace the product. I need a solution before I consider buying anything else from this range.
