Lufthansa Eurowings Failed to Address Flight Cancellation, Left Us Stranded
We purchased a flight for our 17-year-old son, whom we hadn’t seen in two years, from Eurowings through Enuygun. He was supposed to fly from Stuttgart to Adana on August 13. Unfortunately, we found out at the last minute that the flight was canceled. As a family struggling financially, this cancellation left us with no choice but to buy a new ticket at a high price, nearly equal to the total round-trip cost.
We contacted both Enuygun and Eurowings, but neither helped. After multiple calls, emails, and attempts, we were told by Lufthansa that we had tazminat (compensation) rights and should contact Eurowings, but we received no response. Enuygun even stated they weren’t responsible, despite being the booking platform. We plan to escalate this issue to international airline complaint authorities. We expect accountability from both Enuygun and Eurowings. This situation should not happen to anyone.
