On June 8, I purchased the L'Oréal Vitamin C Serum and opened it only to find that the color looked off—it was darker than expected and clearly not right. I didn’t use it at all because I was immediately concerned about its quality. On June 13, I took it to the L'Oréal store inside the Antalya Erasta mall and requested a return. I left the product with them, and they told me they’d investigate and get back to me.
Later, I was informed that the serum’s color is “supposed to be like that” and that they wouldn’t accept a return. They told me to call customer service instead. I tried calling and waited on the line for nearly an hour—no answer.
This product has never touched my skin. I only opened the bottle and noticed the discoloration. Even when compared to other bottles in the store, the color looked concerning, and I felt uncomfortable using it. Why should I be stuck with a product I won’t—and frankly can’t—use? I paid ₺ for this serum, and now I’m told I can’t get my money back for something I didn’t even use once.
L'Oréal, I expect a proper explanation and resolution. This is the first time I’ve ever had such an issue with your brand. Please make this right and issue a refund or allow an exchange. I shouldn't have to waste money on a product that gave me immediate doubts the moment I opened it.
