Trendyol Sold Poco X7 Pro with Cloned IMEI and Illegal Status
I purchased a Poco X7 Pro phone on Trendyol from the seller “MEHMET BİDE … TECHNO” (address: Süleyman Demirel Neighborhood, **** Street, Özbaba Site, Block B, Unit **) under order number #10695632141, for a total of $656.
On May 2, 2026, I received an official government notification stating that the IMEI number of this phone is cloned and that the device is considered illegal. After receiving this notice, I contacted the seller through Trendyol. The seller claimed that it was not his responsibility and asked me to send the phone back so he could “fix it.” I find this response completely unacceptable for a device that was sold to me as new and legitimate.
I am currently still using the phone, but I have been informed that it will soon be blocked and become unusable due to the IMEI issue. This means I will be left without a functioning phone despite having paid the full amount.
I purchased this device in good faith, trusting both the Trendyol platform and the seller. I do not accept a used replacement or an unclear “repair” attempt for a device with a cloned and illegal IMEI, especially after receiving an official government warning.
I request that Trendyol intervene in this matter, cancel this problematic sale, and issue a full refund of $656 as soon as possible.
