About 1–1.5 months ago, I bought L'Oréal's Vitamin C serum and sunscreen cream from Watsons, and I paid a pretty high price for them. Unfortunately, both products have been a major disappointment.
The Vitamin C serum left bright yellow stains on my skin and my pillowcase, even though I didn’t go to bed right after applying it—I usually wait 2 to 3 hours. I used it 4–5 times and noticed the same yellow discoloration every single time. I even shook the bottle well before use, but it didn’t help. I had to stop using it because it clearly doesn’t absorb or dry properly. A serum should not leave neon yellow marks after hours of application. Is the product expired? Why isn’t there an expiration date clearly shown?
Then there’s the sunscreen cream—honestly, I can’t even tell if it’s working. It doesn’t leave any layer or give that protected feeling you expect from a quality sunscreen. It feels like I’m putting on nothing.
L'Oréal, I need someone from your team to respond to this immediately. I need to know whether these products are defective, expired, or just poorly formulated. I paid over ₺ expecting premium skincare—not stained bedding and invisible sunscreen. If there’s an issue with the batch or product, I expect proper guidance and a resolution right away.
