I usually use Maybelline Lash Sensational and love it, so I went to the store to repurchase it. At first, one of the store employees told me the discounted price was ₺390, which sounded fair, so I decided to buy it. However, at the register, they suddenly told me the price was ₺560. I said I didn’t want it anymore and mentioned the previous quote I was given.
They then recommended L'Oréal Telescopic instead, saying it was just as effective as Lash Sensational and would give the same false lash effect. I told them very clearly that I needed a volumizing mascara, not just length. They insisted that Telescopic would meet my expectations. So I trusted them and bought it.
But once I tried it, I was immediately disappointed. It only lengthens, and since I already have long lashes, it did nothing for volume, which was the one thing I specifically asked for. I paid ₺390 for a product I didn’t want, based on misleading claims by the staff.
I’m frustrated and feel like I was pressured into buying something that doesn’t match my needs. I’m requesting a product exchange or refund. Don’t sell products with false promises just to push a sale. I expect you to make this right.
