LG Washing Machine Won’t Heat Water—Service Avoiding Responsibility
I bought an LG washing machine, and after just 1.5 years, it stopped heating water. It was clear that the thermostat was faulty, so I contacted LG’s authorized service. The technician came, inspected the machine, and said, "There’s no visible issue with the thermostat. Try using it again, and call us if the problem continues."
I washed a load, and as expected, the clothes came out ice-cold and poorly cleaned—the machine wasn’t heating at all. The service team returned, took the machine for 10 days, and then brought it back claiming nothing was wrong.
Throughout this process, they refused to provide a service report, despite my repeated requests. When I called again to report that the issue was still not fixed, they told me, "We’ll call you back." Of course, no one ever did. Even when I reached out to LG's main customer service, I got nothing but stalling tactics.
At this point, it’s clear that LG knows this is a serious issue and that they should be replacing the machine. Instead, they are deliberately ignoring the problem to avoid taking responsibility. I paid a premium price for an LG product, expecting quality, but all I got was headaches and a broken machine.
