I bought La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ on a friend’s recommendation, expecting it to be safe for sensitive skin—especially since the packaging claims it’s even suitable for babies. But after just 2-3 uses, my face broke out in a visible rash! At first, I didn’t suspect the cream, so I stopped using all other products and even had blood tests done to rule out any underlying issues. When I applied the balm again, the rash immediately reappeared.
I contacted La Roche-Posay to report the issue and ask for information, but instead of addressing my concerns, they simply told me to contact Trendyol. They didn’t even bother checking the barcode or batch number. When I reached out through Trendyol, their response was absurd: I was told to get a doctor’s report if I wanted a refund. So, as a full-time worker, I’m supposed to take a day off, pay for a doctor’s appointment, get a report, and send it to them just to return a faulty product? This is their idea of customer service?
Since I stopped using the balm, my rash has started to clear up. When I searched online, I found that I’m not the only one experiencing this reaction to Cicaplast Baume B5+. I used to trust this brand—I even chose to buy from their official store instead of third-party sellers. But after this, I will never buy from La Roche-Posay again. Their complete lack of responsibility and refusal to help customers is unacceptable. I’m writing this so others don’t have to go through the same struggle. Fix your products and your customer service!
