About two weeks ago, I purchased the La Roche-Posay body cleansing peeling product, specifically to treat the breakouts that occasionally appear on my arms during the summer. I chose this product because it was recommended for this very purpose. However, to my disappointment and frustration, it made things significantly worse. I have never had this many breakouts in my life, and each day the acne seems to multiply instead of improve.
In addition, I used the Cicaplast Baume B5 cream thinking it would soothe the inflammation and help with healing. Unfortunately, it also had no effect whatsoever—if anything, the problem only intensified. Now I’m left with irritated, breakout-prone skin and a sense of regret for trusting these products.
I feel awful about the condition of my skin and genuinely misled by the brand’s claims. I no longer know what to do with these products—throwing them away seems like the only reasonable option at this point. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I experienced. I urge La Roche-Posay to take accountability, offer a refund, and re-evaluate these formulas for sensitive and acne-prone skin.
