Kuveyt Türk Took My Savings Without Any Explanation
I had an individual retirement account through Kuveyt Türk, with savings exceeding ₺4,000, including the government contribution. Due to an urgent need for cash, I applied to withdraw my accumulated funds on February 11, 2025. They sent me a contract termination form requiring my account number and a wet signature, which I completed and returned. I was told that the funds would be deposited into my account within 20 days. However, when the money had not arrived by March 4, 2025, I called and was rudely informed that since I had not completed five years in the system, the accumulated amount was used to cover expenses, leaving no funds to be paid out. No explanation was provided to me beforehand, and it feels as though my money was essentially confiscated. I kindly request the necessary action to be taken.

On 20.11.2023, I joined the individual pension system linked to Kuveyt Türk Participation Pension system. I saw that I had a savings of around 4000 TL in my bank account including the government contribution, and since I needed money urgently, I decided to withdraw it. On 11.02.2025, I submitted a withdrawal petition. The Participation Pension officer I spoke to did not say that no money would be given if you leave, and said write your account number on the form we sent, it will be transferred to your account within 20 days. I signed and sent it, and later I was informed that I would not receive any payment if I did not leave within 5 years. The bank officials did not take responsibility, saying you signed and accepted this condition when entering the system. It is illogical for a person to terminate a system where they have savings without receiving money. I am complaining about the Participation Pension officers who did not inform me about this and request that necessary actions be taken.
